Georges Sybesma French, b. 1960
Georges Sybesma was born in the Netherlands in 1960, and spent his youth in Paris. In 1983 he set up his workshop in Limousin, in Saint-Sulpice-les-Feuilles. Since 2000, he has lived and worked in the village of La Borne in the Cher province of France. Though self-taught, Sybesma was influenced by French studio potters Claude Varlan, and Jean-Michel Gardelle.
Sybesma's works with wood-fired stoneware and porcelain.
