'Favoured Paths 2' by Andrew Bird
The eagerly-awaited solo show of new abstract Cornish landscape-based paintings and assemblages by permanent gallery artist Andrew Bird.
This Derbyshire based artist creates many-layered compositions in repsonse to his frequent visits to the upland moors, rugged coastlines and busy harbours of Cornwall. In his work he is interested in the relationships of colour and contrast, as well as the interplay of forms and gestural mark-making.
The show is complemented by new collections of ceramics by Geoffrey Swindell and Charlotte Jones, along with new bronze sculptures by Robert Fogell.
Prices of the artworks in show range from £65 to £6,000, and the Own Art interest-free purchase plan is available on all works.
