This work along with three others by the artist were inherited by the current owner from his late Grandmother.It is believed by the vendor that this and the other works were purchased personally by his late Grandmother from a gallery in Fore Street, St Ives, between 1987-92. (Possibly the Emanuel Gallery, or the New Craftsman?)
